In May 2004, Las Vegas Sands Corp. introduced a new standard of gaming to Macao.

With the opening of Sands Macao Hotel, the company's first project in Asia, Sands Macao features over 165,000 square feet of casino space with 65-foot high ceilings, custom designed gaming surveillance, lighting and sound canopies.

There is a central "stadium of gaming", 51 luxury suites, 4 specialty restaurants, a buffet, coffee shop, food court, an international VIP Paiza Club and a beautiful garden landscape area. The largest non smoking gaming area in Asia is in the new Pearl Room.

LVSC introduced a new level of service and style through a combination of premium gaming and entertainment features to the Macao tourism market.
